Harkess-Ord worked with Smith & Nephew to develop their new identity, created by Wolff Olins, into a full turnkey branding solution to be rolled out across 110 sites around the world.

We identified some unique material combinations, which reflected the new Smith & Nephew brand values, and these were developed to create the transparent lens theme envisaged by the design agency.  These materials were used to create a modular brand element family, the components of which could be applied to any site profile within the diverse range of architectural styles found within Smith & Nephew’s global network of facilities.

Harkess-Ord became 3D brand guardians with responsibility for the development of all aspects of the built environment including:
