Implementation

National Australia Bank appointed Harkess-Ord to design, develop and manage all aspects of the brand roll-out for their new corporate identity to over 900 retail branches and corporate offices, plus the rebranding of over 2,000 ATMs.

This included detailed site analyses and the creation of individual site design packs as brand control tools, early stage material specifications and color-matching, modular product development, full technical specifications and value engineering.

We conducted a detailed supplier selection and procurement phase, producing master sample sets and a comprehensive guideline package.
 
Harkess-Ord was tasked with full project management, covering all stages of brand compliance and quality control during manufacturing, site works and final implementation.
 
All 900 sites and 2,000 ATMs were delivered on-brand within 18 months, ahead of the targeted timeline and under budget. The program savings went towards additional brand related projects such as a skyline sign program.

ATM Program

Alongside the brand ATM program, National Australia Bank partnered with Coles Express to place 350 standalone and through-the-wall ATMs into their Shell convenience stores.
 
We were commissioned to design, manufactor and implement a branded cladding solution, including housing for essential telecommunications and security equipment.
 

Retail Kiosks

Harkess-Ord extended NAB’s retail presence into modular, multi-format kiosks, suitable for installation into shopping centers and public spaces.

Skyline Signs

Harkess-Ord transformed city skylines across Australia, introducing an strong brand presence for NAB atop some of the most prominent buildings in the country. The process involved coordination of the removal of the preexisting signs and the installation of the new signs. The various locations included Perth, Brisbane, Adelaide, Darwin, Sydney and Melbourne.
