Wachovia Corporation is the US’ fourth largest bank and provides a broad range of banking, asset management, wealth management, and corporate and investment banking products and services.
Value engineering was the focus of the 3,000 site rebranding program Harkess-Ord developed and deployed for Wachovia, based on Interbrand’s new corporate identity. Through extensive research, smart engineering, heavy prototyping, creative procurement outside of the classic manufacturing industry and detailed manufacturing and installation packages, Harkess-Ord substantially reduced the costs by 40% over previously received quotes. Our signage system developed became an integral part of Wachovia’s innovative retail banking concept, which was applied to its network of US branches.
