Statoil

Following the merger of Statoil, Norway's largest corporation with Norsk Hydro, Harkess-Ord were appointed to translate and implement the new Statoil brand identity in 3D across their network of offices and facilities in over 60 locations worldwide. The challenge was to deliver the brand to authentically reflect their strategic shift from a traditional oil company to a progressive energy business.

To highlight Statoil's vision, an innovative brand signage system was developed using high technology materials and the latest energy efficient lighting systems. It also featured a new technique for embedding images in large glass panels, enabling Statoil to visually communicate their Nordic heritage and positive relationship with their environment.

With only an 8 week lead time to brand launch, Harkess-Ord developed and engineered the branding concepts and managed the manufacture and installation of all of the signage elements, ensuring quality and full brand compliance. Our field based team supervised the installation process working alongside local contractors to meet the launch deadline.

Following a successful launch phase, Harkess-Ord has now implemented the external and internal reception branding systems across all Statoil land assets.

We continue to work with Statoil in developing all branding and signage systems for their oil rigs and tank farms as well as technologically innovative branded interiors and internal wayfinding systems to deliver the best possible environmental brand experience for employees, customers and visitors across their international network.
