Stannah is given a lift by Harkess-Ord and royal patronage

Today, HRH The Prince of Wales visited Stannah Group’s Andover based factory to mark the production of its 500,000th stair-lift and to celebrate an organisation which is leading the way for the future of British manufacturing.

Over the last 6 months Harkess-Ord have worked closely with Stannah and their Design Agency Interbrand, to develop and implement a new branding scheme across their UK network of offices and production facilities. The new scheme has been developed to communicate the group’s passion for quality and engineering excellence and desire to bring freedom and independence to thousands of people in 42 countries worldwide.

Patrick Stannah, Group Director of Stannah Stairlifts commented “Today, I am proud to celebrate the enthusiasm and drive for engineering we see among the thousands of people who are part of Stannah. We prove that an independent, family-run firm has a place leading British industry - and that manufacturing is indeed alive and kicking!
